Minimum Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission into the Certificate in Midwifery program, applicants must have:

For Direct Entry (O’ Level):

  • A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent

  • At least five (5) passes in subjects including English, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry

For In-Service Applicants:

  • Must hold a health-related certificate (e.g. Nursing Assistant)

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience

  • Recommendation from employer and relevant regulatory body
